Join us for a celebration of fashion during Katsucon 2025 with our Indie Designer Fashion Show featuring a variety of styles from local designers including Lolita Fashion, Fairy Kei, Mahou Shoujo Kei, Ouji, and popular of the ‘cores’ and ‘aesthetics’!
We’ll have informative and entertaining panels, hands on workshops, and opportunities to socialize, and the return of the J Fashion Try-On. There is so much to do whether you’re a seasoned J-Fashion enthusiast or just getting started.
Come meet the local community, make new friends, and learn something new!
J Fashion Try-On
The local DMV Lolita community has come together and gathered a collection of Lolita garments to help newbies see things up close, ask questions, and even try on an outfit! We’ll have a backdrop for pictures, a place to hang out and ask questions, and a variety of sizes from US Women’s 2 – US Women’s 26.
If you’re interested in doing the Try-on, please sign up (link coming soon), and arrive with a tight-fitting t-shirt and shorts/bloomers to wear under the dresses (armpits and butts must be covered). Garments are disinfected between uses.

Modeling
Interested in modelling at the 2024 J-Fashion Show with one of our designers? Submit your information to this form which will be shared with the designers. They’ll contact you directly if interested.
